Types of Registered Massage
Listed here is a description of the different types of massage that we offer.
Swedish
Swedish massage is a therapeutic massage that is performed by trained, licensed massage therapist. A Swedish massage can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on the therapist's personal style and what he or she wants to achieve.

Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.")
NISA
NISA stands for Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment. The therapist uses stretching and spreading techniques which challenge and release fascia restrictions that may be responsible for poor
posture and pain. Fascia is meant to be soft and pliable. Fascia's role is to support the bodies structures while being able to move as we move. Over time and through physical or emotional trauma it becomes hard and restrictive, inhibiting movement and proper body alignment At the end of the treatment the goal is for the client to feel less restrictive, relaxed and more in tune with the body.
